Male Service Manager, 39 hours per week, £18,052 – £20,548 per annum dependant upon service/qualifications to be based in Warrington (Learning Disabilities/Mental Health)

You will be responsible for managing the service effectively, to create an atmosphere which achieves a homely and safe environment and which takes into account the needs of an individual service user. This requires an awareness of the effects and opportunities of group living in the community, and the recognition of the personal dignity of the individual. A Diploma, Management Level 5 (NVQ 4 Care/Registered Managers) or working towards this qualification is essential.

Male Senior Support Worker, 39 hours per week, £15,247 per annum to be based in Warrington/em>

As a SSW, as well as contributing to day to day activities and support, you will be responsible for providing guidance and support to staff members, and you will assist the Manager in the overall management of the service. You will be involved in all aspects of service users lives, including household tasks, planning, community activities and recording and administrative procedures.

We require you to have a Level 2 in Care and either working or willingness to work towards Level 3 in Care, excellent communication and supervisory skills with a direct, hand on approach.

Male Waking Night Support Worker, £12,111.79 pa, 35 hours per week during probationary period rising thereafter, based in Warrington

As a Waking Night Support Worker you will work alongside a service users, contributing to activites during the day/evening/night whereby you will be actively involved in aspects of service users lives, supporting them to make choices and increase their independance. Your role will include undertaking houshold tasks, personal support, planning and administration and recording.

Ideally you will have Care level 2 or NVQ Level 2 Health & Social Care and if not you will be expected to work towards this. You will have excellent communication skills and be able to work on your own initiative, organising and prioritising your workload accordingly.
