Community/Floating Support

We provide ‘Community Supported Living Services’ for adults and children in their own homes living within the local community.  These services provide respite for carers as well as supporting social inclusion and independence for adults and children with a disabilities.

We help to enable people to live with a greater degree of independence by providing guidance on outcome focused activities as budgeting, shopping, and other independent living skills as well as providing prompts with personal care, medication and dietary requirements.

As with all of our activities, we work in partnership with service users, Carers and stakeholders such as Care Managers, General Practitioners, Community Nurses and organisations who are similarly committed to providing independent living support.

We are also a member of the Calico Partnership which provides practical support for people in East Lancashire who need skills and advice to live independently.

We aim to provide a continuity of individual support which meets the changing needs of our service users, this requires that individual support is reviewed regularly
